Play Therapy Workshop: Deepening Connection & Attachment to Self as a Therapist

This three-day immersive workshop is designed for experienced play therapists who are ready to go deeper into the heart of the therapeutic process. Together, we will explore:

Connection to Self – strengthening awareness of your own body as the primary instrument in the playroom. Learn how to stay present, attuned, and authentic so children can “borrow” your regulation.

Relational Presence – cultivating resonance through posture, tone, pacing, and breath to create safety and healing before words are even spoken.

The Process of Change – working with developmental stages, emotional ages, and starting points to meet children exactly where they are.

Experiential Integration – role plays, creative expression, journaling, and reflective practices to embody what you learn.

With guidance from leading voices in the field, you’ll practice troubleshooting challenges with both children and parents, deepen your understanding of co-regulation, and step into greater confidence and trust in your work.

At its core, this workshop is about becoming a more grounded, attuned, and courageous therapist—one who can hold both the “yuck” and the joy with presence and compassion.

This workshop is designed to expand your therapeutic capacity, deepen your self-awareness, and enhance your ability to show up authentically in the playroom.
